THE LEGACY OF PBWLThe power of one woman changed life for the better for all of us in Pelican Bay. In 1995, Muriel Lord had an idea. She called together 15 women to help her create an organization to offer activities that would connect women while they were together for season in Naples. She knew making friends and finding meaningful and enjoyable activities in which to participate would enhance time spent in Pelican Bay. The group’s excitement led to the formation of the Pelican Bay Women’s League. This vibrant group was and is all about creating friendships through spirited events. | our mission To further enhance the quality of life in spirit of community through social, cultural and educational programs and activities. |
